EPDM Gasket Manufacturing Process
The manufacturing of EPDM rubber gaskets typically involves the following steps:
Material Preparation → Molding → Curing (Vulcanization) → Finishing
Material Preparation: EPDM rubber compounds are formulated by mixing raw rubber, curing agents, carbon black, and other additives to achieve the desired properties. OBT offers specialized EPDM material formulations for a wide range of applications.
Molding : The prepared compound is then molded into the desired shape of the gasket. Compression molding is commonly used for making customized gaskets.

Finishing: Once the gaskets are cured, they will be trimmed manually or automatically.
